Dear Reader,
Many people are wondering what is the next technology frontier. I prognosticate artificial intelligence and its applications like video watching, music and video streaming, quantum computing, internet of things and basically all of internet based applications are going to drive the next technology revolution.
Year to date the Nasdaq Composite is the best performing major index in the USA and most probably globally. Investors, undoubtedly, are betting that all internet based commerce, news reading, information gathering, telemedicine and so on are in a flux and will emerge victorious from the current coronavirus disease COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier programming languages were the driving force behind the internet. Now it is algorithms or with other words artificial intelligence. The large ubiquitous computing power is making possible for internet applications to predict and model consumer behavior, which could drive engagement. The main beneficiaries are video streaming, news and internet commerce.
Artificial intelligence, has its limits as of now, but in my opinion it is definitely the next technology investment frontier.
